Themes are constantly used throughout movies and their trailers in order to aid the conventions of genres. A key theme that i will be using constantly throughout my teaser trailer is fear. I want the main character to clearly portray his might and show the fear he develops within the 'bad guys'. By showing this theme, the audience will become excited on how the protagonist is going to take his revenge on the 'bad guys'. I will show the effect of fear through the character by using various camera techniques and lighting techniques. Using shots such as low angle shots, show the authority of the figure portrayed and lighting used can create mystery of the figure.
The theme of revenge will also be clearly portrayed through techniques such as captions, use of colours and camera angles. Also using dark shots of the protagonist will be key when conveying to the audience that this character is determined to take revenge.
